Turntable Rotation Components

3  Push the backlash pivot plate towards the 

turntable as far as possible (this will push the 

rotation gear into the turntable bearing ring 

gear). 

4  Loosen the lock nut on the adjustment bolt. 
5  Turn the adjustment bolt clockwise until it 

contacts the backlash pivot plate. 

6  Turn the adjustment bolt 1/2 turn 

counterclockwise. Tighten the lock nut on the 

adjustment bolt. 

7  Rotate the backlash pivot plate away from the 

turntable until it contacts the adjustment bolt. 

Then torque the mounting fasteners on the 

backlash pivot plate to specification. Refer to 

Specifications, 

Machine Torque 

Specifications

8  Rotate the turntable through an entire rotation. 

Check for tight spots that could cause binding. 

Readjust if necessary.

How to Replace the Turntable 

Angle Sensor 

1  Push in the red Emergency Stop button to the 

off position at both the ground and platform 

controls and turn the key switch to the off 

position. 

2  Locate the turntable angle sensor behind the 

function manifold. 

3  Tag and disconnect the electrical connector 

from the angle sensor. 

4  Remove the retaining fasteners. Remove the 

angle sensor from the machine. 

5  Install the new angle sensor onto the machine.  
6  Securely connect the angle sensor harness to 

the main harness. 

7  Calibrate the angle sensor. Refer to Repair 

Procedure,
