AERIAL OPERATION
Before using the Aerial Device, the operator should check through the pre-operational procedure to ensure
the vehicle is properly positioned with outriggers (if equipped) firmly in place. Extreme care should always be
exercised when lifting personnel.
Before entering the platform, place the outrigger control selector (if equipped) and the lower control selector
to the upper controls.
After entering the platform, connect the lanyard to the attachment ring located on the platform bracket. An
OSHA Approved Fall Protection System must be used.
The indicated number of lanyards may be attached to the lanyard anchor provided, one or two as indicated
by X1 or X2 on decals.

CONTACT BY THE HUMAN BODY WITH
TWO ENERGIZED CONDUCTORS OR
BETWEEN AN ENERGIZED CONDUCTOR
AND A GROUNDED CONDUCTOR.
It makes no difference if this contact is
accidental or deliberate or whether contact is
made through metallic parts of the basket,
basket support, metal tools or equipment
brought into the basket. The insulating
components of this aerial device do not offer
protection in the event of such contact.
Proper conductor cover up, insulated sleeves
and gloves shall be worn when working near
energized lines or equipment.
