Fuel Tank

Models with fuel containment option:
7 Support the fuel tank containment weldment at
each end using lifting jacks and blocks. Do not
apply any lifting pressure.
Component damage hazard.
The fuel tank is plastic and may
become damaged if the lifting
jacks are in direct contact with
the plastic tank.
8 Remove the fasteners securing the fuel tank
containment weldment to the chassis.
9 Carefully lower the fuel tank out of the chassis
and remove it from the machine. Remove the
fuel tank from the fuel containment weldment.
Component damage hazard. The
fuel tank is plastic and may
become damaged if allowed to
fall.
Note: It may be necessary to lower the outriggers
to the ground and raise the machine using the
outriggers to obtain adequate clearance to
completely remove the fuel tank from the machine.
Note: Clean the fuel tank and inspect for cracks
and other damage before installing it onto the
machine.
