TESTINg VaCuum faN
1 . key off . disconnect vacuum fan from wire harness .
2 . key off . Inspect carbon brushes . replace carbon
brushes if they are shorter than 10mm (0 .375 in) .
3 . apply battery voltage to the vacuum fan(s) using
fuse-protected jumper leads as shown below . The fan
should turn on . replace the vacuum fan if it fails to
turn on .

displayed should be approximately 14-20 amps (avg .
