This machine is designed solely for the purpose of
curing floors using Tennant Eco
−
UVC and
Eco
−
UVI floor coating. Tennant does not
recommend using this machine with any other
floor coating. This machine is intended for indoor
use only in a dry environment.
The following symbols are used throughout this
manual as indicated in their description:
WARNING: To warn of hazards or
unsafe practices that could result in
severe personal injury or death.
CAUTION: To warn of unsafe practices
that could result in minor or moderate
personal injury.
FOR SAFETY: To identify actions that
must be followed for safe operation of
equipment.
The following information signals potentially
dangerous conditions to the operator or
equipment. Read this manual carefully. Know
when these conditions can exist. Locate all safety
devices on the machine. Then, take necessary
steps to train machine operators. Report machine
damage or faulty operation immediately. Do not
use the machine if it is not in proper operating
condition.
WARNING: Hazardous voltage. Do not
operate with damaged power cord. Do
not modify plug. Unplug power cord
before servicing machine.
WARNING: Burn hazard. Hot surface. Do
NOT touch.
CAUTION: Ultraviolet (UV) exposure
may cause eye damage. Do not operate
without wearing UVA

safety glasses. Do not look into UV
source.
FOR SAFETY:
1. Do not operate machine:

For professional use only. For use by
qualified trained personnel only.

Unless operator manual is read and
understood.
−
Unless cord is properly grounded.
−
With any additional cords longer than
15 m (50 ft) plus the existing machine
cord for a maximum of 30 m (100 ft).
All cords must be at least a 14 gauge /
3 wire cord.

In an area where flammable
vapors/liquids or combustible dusts
are present.

Outdoors.
−
If not in proper operating condition.

If fatigued or under the influence of
alcohol or drugs.

In standing water.
2. Before operating machine:

Make sure all safety devices are in
place and operate properly.

Know how to turn off the machine, be
thoroughly familiar with the controls.

Do not place machine on an unstable
surface.

3. When using machine:

Do not operate side lights in the raised
position.
−
Do not push or pull machine on stairs.
−
Do not look into the lights.
−
Wear long sleeve shirt, pants and
closed toe shoes to reduce UV
exposure.

Do not run machine over cord.
−
Do not pull machine by plug or cord.
−
Do not pull cord around sharp edges
or corners.
−
Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
−
Do not stretch cord.
−
Do not handle plug with wet hands.
−
Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
−
Report machine damage or faulty
operation immediately.
−
Stay alert. Watch what you are doing.
−
Never allow children to play on or
around machine.
