6.2 Wireless Security Settings
This section is for wireless security settings. The three
commonest encryption methods are introduced: Mixed
WEP, WPA-personal, and WPA2-personal.
6.2.1 Mixed WEP
WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) is an encryption
method which encrypts the data wirelessly transferred
between two devices to prevent unauthorized users
from intercepting or invading the wireless network. WEP
security, based on RC4 data encryption technology,
provides data confidentiality, integrity, and
authentication for wireless communication.

Security Mode: Select the corresponding security
mode from the drop-down menu.

WEP Key1~4: Set the WEP key with the format of
ASCII and Hex. You can enter ASCII code (5 or 13
