within the detection range of the sensors, the lid
will open automatically.
The indicator light will illuminate green.
The detection range is approximately 10 cm.

INSTRUCTION MANUAL
This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other application,
such as for non domestic use or in a commercial environment.
Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
Batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product.
Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal. Don't throw used batteries in dustbin. Please contact
your retailer in order to protect the environment.
The batteries (batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

GETTING STARTED

Place the top part with the lid facing downwards onto a sufficiently
large, scratch-resistant surface.

Remove the battery cover by sliding it in the direction of the arrow.

Insert 4 carbon zinc D size batteries in the battery compartment
observing the correct polarities.

Reattach the battery cover to the top part.

NOTE
: Remove the batteries from the product if it is not in use for long periods of time.
Using the retaining ring
Make sure the sensor bin is placed onto a firm, level surface.

Place a bin liner inside the sensor bin.
2.Use the supplied removable retaining ring to hold the bin liner secure.
3.Fold the excess edges over the ring inside the sensor bin.
4.If the bin liner is wrapped properly with the retaining ring, it will not be
seen when the bin is closed.

DISPOSAL
OPERATION
Remove the top part of the sensor bin.
Clean the outer surface of the top part with a slightly dampen cloth. Dry
thoroughly. Never immerse it in water.
Clean the other parts with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

product, packaging materials and if applicable, accessories and batteries.
This will help conserve natural resources and ensure that the materials are
recycled in a manner that protects health and the environment.
You must follow laws and regulations about disposal. Waste electrical
products and batteries must be disposed of separately from household
waste when the product reaches the end of its life.
Contact the store where you bought the product and your local authority to
learn about disposal and recycling.
The batteries must be disposed of at your local
recycling point.

Switch on the sensor bin by setting the power switch to the “I” position.
The indicator light will flash red at regular intervals as long as there is no
operation.

Switch off the sensor bin if it is not in use.
The indicator light will go out.
To manually open or close the sensor bin, press OPEN / CLOSE.
