Relays
Select the Relays device option to toggle between the two NET-PATH relay outputs.
Executing this option produces an audible click.
Serial Ports
The Serial Ports device option produces a summary view of all the NET-PATH serial
ports. The screen below illustrates the serial ports summary display. The NET-PATH
port numbers, presented as 1 through 8, A1, and A2, appear on the top line. Only the
ports and auxiliary devices defined in the database appear in the summary. The
summary also shows the control lead status for DTR, DSR, OH, CD, RTS, and CTS.
A dash displays for any port not configured.

Shutdown
The main menu Shutdown option includes Safe Shutdown, Warm Boot, and Cold
Boot. The Warm Boot safely reboots the unit without cycling power. Cold Boot
cycles power and reboots the unit.
Both warm and cold boots may result in the loss of active event data. Data stored in
flash memory is retained.
Safe Shutdown functions only when commercial power is removed. When you
attempt to shut down before removing the power, the following displays.
