Descripción del producto
Este switch de alto rendimiento fue diseñado para un
entorno de red en el que el tráfi co y el número de usuarios
aumentan continuamente.
El switch es ideal para grupos de trabajo de ancho de banda
compartido con múltiples servidores de alta velocidad,
proporcionando velocidades de hasta 200 Mbps (modo
Full-Duplex de 100 Mbps).
Cada puerto puede proporcionar a la estación de trabajo un
ancho de banda sin congestión para el acceso simultáneo
al servidor.
El switch es una elección perfecta para un tramo de red de
10 Mbps que podría ser actualizado a Fast Ethernet en el
futuro.
Así, los grupos de trabajo Ethernet pueden conectarse
al switch y cambiar adaptadores y hubs en cualquier
momento posterior sin cambiar el switch o reconfi gurar
la red.

Indicadores LED
Los indicadores LED permiten tanto monitorizar como
diagnosticar el estado del switch. A continuación se detalla
la utilidad de cada indicador:
•
LED de alimentación:
este indicador se ilumina
fi jamente de color azul cuando el switch se enciende.
•
LED Link/Act:
este indicador se ilumina fi jamente
de color azul cuando el puerto correspondiente está
conectado a una red. Parpadea de color azul cuando está
transmitiendo o recibiendo datos de la red.

1. Read the instructions.

3. Pay attention to all warnings.
4. Follow all the instructions.
5. Do not use this equipment close to water.
6. Clean with a dry cloth only.
7. Do not block vents. Install according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
8. Do not install close to sources of heat. Avoid environments
with strong electromagnetic signals, vibrations, dust or
direct sunlight.
9. Only use attachements/accesories specifi ed by the
manufacturer.
10. Request all repairs from qualifi ed service personnel.
Request a repair when the equipment is damaged in
any way, such as damage to the main cord or plug;
liquid spills or if any object has fallen inside the
equipment; or if the equipment has been exposed to
rain or moisture, does not work properly or has fallen.
Warning
•
This equipment should not be dropped or splashed by
water. Do not place objects or containers fi lled with
water, such as vases, over or close the equipment.
How to use the equipment safely
•
In case any liquid or object falls inside the equipment you
should contact the technical service.
Safe installation
•
It is strongly reccommended not to connect to the
electrical network before doing all connections.
•
Room temperature must not exceed 40ºC.
•
Do not place the equipment close to sources of heat or in
environments with high humidity levels.
•
Do not place the equipment where it may be subject to
strong vibrations or jolts.
•
Leave a free space around the equipment for proper
ventilation.
•
Do not place sources of naked fl ames, such as lit candles,
over the equipment.

Designed for indoor use only.
Meets EC marking requirements
This product cannot be treated as normal
domestic waste. It must be taken to a waste
electrical and electronic equipment colletion
point (WEEE).
Troubleshooting
•
Power LED is not lit
Check if the power connector is connected properly.
Try disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply.
•
Link LED is not lit.
Make sure the device’s network connection settings are
correct and check that the drivers on the device’s network
card are up to date.
•
Check the distance between connections.
Make sure that the connection distance between the
switch and any other connected device, compatible with
the IEEE 802.3 standard, does not exceed 100 m.
•
Performance is low.
-
Check the communication status between devices. If one
device sets the Full-Duplex protocol but another device
sets the Half-Duplex protocol, the performance of that
link will be poor.

Make sure that the connections between the switch and
the diff erent devices are made with CAT.3 or higher UTP
cables(CAT.5 in case of 100 Mbps)
•
Devices cannot communicate.

Check the status of the “Link” LED to make sure the
devices are connected.
-
Make sure that the network
settings of the devices are correct.
-
Reset the switch if necessary.
