15.2 Dictating a message
To dictate a message, select the message input field, press and hold
OK
to activate the Voice
Assistant, and speak. You can edit the dictated message before sending it.
15.3 Managing messages
The
Messages
app is designed for threaded messaging. Threaded messaging displays both sides of
a conversation (or thread) on one screen, in chronological order. In this way, it also groups messages
to and from the same person together.
Viewing messages

To open and view all messages in a conversation, go to the
Messages
home screen, highlight the
conversation, and p
ress
OK
. The most recent message in the conversation will appear at the
bottom. You can press the up or down navigation key to scroll through the conversation to view all
messages.

To return to the
Messages
home screen from a conversation, press
.
Replying to a message

After you open a conversation for viewing, the
Message
box at the bottom of the screen is
automatically highlighted and prompts you to enter a reply message.

To send a reply message, enter your message using the keypad or Voice Assistant and press
the
left soft key
to send it.
Deleting messages or conversations

When viewing a conversation, you can delete a message by highlighting it, pressing
the
right soft
key
, selecting
Delete
, and pressing
the
right soft key
again.

To delete more than one message in a conversation at a time when viewing the conversation,
highlight the
Message
box at the bottom of the screen, press the
right soft key
, select
Select
messages
, select the messages you want to delete from the list, and press the
right soft key
twice.

When viewing a conversation, you can delete it by highlighting the

15.4 Changing messaging settings
To view and change the messaging settings, go to
