Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA)

You can use this menu to view alert messages or configure emergency alert settings.

The following options are available:

Option

Description

Alert Inbox

View messages in the Alert Inbox.

Presidential alert

Your phone can receive emergency alerts. This alert cannot be disabled.

Extreme alert

Enable/disable Extreme alerts.

Severe alert

Enable/disable Severe alerts.

AMBER alert

Enable/disable AMBER alerts.

Required Monthly Test

Enable/disable monthly test of the WEA function.

WEA Ringtone

Play the alert ringtone.

Cell broadcast message

You can use this menu to turn the cell broadcast messaging function on or off and configure the

channels for receiving cell broadcast messages.

You can receive messages on various topics from your network operator, such as weather or traffic

conditions in a particular region. For available channels and relevant channel settings, contact your

network operator.

Notes

: Not all network operators provide the cell broadcast messaging function in their networks.

Cell broadcast messages cannot be received when your phone is roaming.

: Turn vibration on or off, select a ringtone, select a sound for notice alerts, or manage

: Set the length of time before the screen automatically turns off.
