Operator’s Manual Simple AFG Application

Modulation 

In this Run Mode, it is possible to modulate a carrier waveform with a modulation law that can be 
another waveform or an external signal. All waveforms except Noise and DC level support the 
Modulation Run Mode. 

Touching the “

Mod. Type

” button the modulation type menu 

opens as shown in the picture below. 

                     

 

 

With the button 

Hide Profile

 you can view and hide the waveform modulation profile on the graph 

 
The modulation types are:

The PWM modulation is the only modulation supported by the Pulse waveform. 
The types of modulation are explained in detail in the following sections of this chapter.
