The

and

Protocol

Violation

information

is

added

by

the

Kibra

DDR

Protocol

Analyzer

and

software

after

the

trace

data

is

captured

and

uploaded.

When

a

violation

is

detected,

a

violation

marker

is

added

to

the

appropriate

line

in

the

waveform.

Violations

are

also

marked

in

the

Listing

view

at

the

timestamp

where

the

violation

occurred.

These

violations

are

based

on

the

JEDEC

timing

values

specified

by

the

user

in

the

Recording

Options

>

Basic

Settings

dialog.

The

violation

markers

are

calculated

automatically

and

placed

at

the

clock

cycle

closest

to

the

point

where

the

violation

is

detected.

Tool

tips

are

provided

for

some

violations

to

provide

further

explanation

of

the

protocol

or

timing

violation.
