11 Deployment
Guide
Use the following steps and the Quick Reference card to setup the Work-
Horse for a deployment.
11.1 Deployment
Checklist
Test the ADCP using
DumbTerm
Seal the ADCP for deployment
Install new o-rings; use silicone lubricant
Use fresh desiccant (2 bags) inside ADCP
Visually inspect the ADCP
Check the transducer head condition
All mounting hardware installed
Transducer faces clean and free from defects
Verify compass alignment using
DumbTerm
; if necessary, re-calibrate
Are biofouling precautions needed?
Zero pressure sensor (optional) at deployment site with AZ-command
