Assembly Instructions
Installation
1. Position the left bracket so that the screw holes align with the two holes on the side of the oscilloscope.
The handle should be facing toward the front of the unit.
Note
: The left and right brackets are not interchangeable. The holes should only line up correctly with the
handles facing forward.
2. Use two of the M4x20 screws included with the rack mount kit to attach the left bracket to the
oscilloscope body.
3. Install the right bracket in the same manner as the left.
4. With the brackets securely fastened to the unit, install the oscilloscope into a rack following the
manufacturer's specifications.
CAUTION.
This rack mount kit has been designed to fit standard 19-inch rack cabinets per
EIA/ECA 310-E. It has been designed for heated air exhaust through vents on the left and right
sides of the instrument. Some rack cabinets might present unusual obstacles that can block
exhaust vents. If you observe such obstacles, please contact TeledyneLeCroy technical staff
for further guidance.
