Speed Dial
Speed Dial enables you to call a telephone number with a two- or three-digit access code.
There are two types of Speed Dial numbers:
♦
Station—assigned by individual station users to their own station and can only be dialed
from the station that assigns it.
♦
System—assigned only from attendant consoles or a designated station (typically the
System Administrator station), and can be used by other stations. (See System
Administrator User Guide for storing instructions.)
Important!
If you do not perform the following procedures within a specified time (set in
system programming for either one or three minutes) when storing speed dial
numbers, the operation times out and your telephone returns to idle mode.
