Introduction
The EdgeGate483S is a multi-service customer premises equipment (CPE) device designed to
reduce the cost of delivering voice, video, and data services to homes, small office/home office
(SOHO), and small enterprise.
This guide provides installation instructions for the GW-483S family of EdgeGate483S systems.
The GW-483S is comprised of an indoors/outdoors cabinet whose main components are a VoIP
gateway board and an optional RF analog converter board.

The GW-483S system supports the following indoor/outdoor powering options:

Indoor integrated UPS+PSU
•
Indoor 110/220 power supply unit with no power backup.
•
Outdoor integrated UPS+PSU
•
Outdoor powering system including meter collar
