Audio display
The Audio display provides level meters and a phase display for monitoring
audio signals. The level meters and correlation meters are always shown. When
you choose to show the Phase plot (also known as Lissajous) or Surround Sound
displays, the left part of the Audio tile displays the level meters and the right part
the Phase or Surround Sound display.
To access the
Audio display
1. Press and hold the AUDIO button to open the Audio pop-up menu.
2. Use the arrow keys to select the AUX display mode:
■ Off - Turns off the auxiliary display (Phase or Surround), which allows
the level meters to occupy the complete viewing area.
■ Phase display - Displays a plot of the audio phase in either 2-channel
XY or Lissajous Sound Stage modes.
■ Surround display - Displays a plot of the channel levels in a surround-
sound listening environment.
3. Press the AUDIO button to close the pop-up menu.

■ Level meters : Shows the audio levels. (See To check audio level on
page 222) The response of the level meters is determined by the ballistics
setting in the CONFIG > Digital Audio Displays menu.
■ Phase or Surround Display : Select between the Phase display, where the
phase of a selected pair of channels is plotted against an X-Y or sound-stage
plot, and the Surround display, where all the channels' levels display in
positions matching their place in a surround-sound listening environment.
