Appendix B: TPP0101 and TPP0201 Series 10X Passive
Probes Information
The TPP0101 & TPP0201 Series 100 and 200 MHz Passive Probes are high
impedance, passive probes with 10X attenuation that are designed for use with
the following Tektronix oscilloscopes:
TPS2000B and TDS2000C oscilloscopes that have 20 pF of input capacitance.
The compensation range of these probes is 15 – 25 pF.
The probes have no user- or Tektronix-serviceable parts.
WARNING.
Do not fl oat these probes (TPP0101 and TPP0201 Series) on any
oscilloscope except TPS2000 and TPS2000B Series Oscilloscopes.
Do not fl oat the reference lead of these probes to >30 V

when used with
a TPS2000 or TPS2000B Series Oscilloscope. Use either the P5120 probe
(
fl oatable to 600 V
RMS
CAT II), a similarly-rated passive high voltage probe, or an
appropriately-rated high voltage differential probe when fl oating the reference
lead above 30 V

, subject to the ratings of the high voltage probe used.
