Changing the default
fi
le save location on the USB drive
By default, the oscilloscope saves image, waveform, and setup
fi
les to the top directory of the USB drive. Use this procedure
to select a different default save folder on the USB drive in which to save
fi
les.
1.
Push the
Save/Recall
front-panel button.
2.
Push the
File Utility
side-menu button.
3.
Use the
Multipurpose
knob to navigate to and highlight a folder in which to save
fi
les.
4.
Push the
Change Folder
side-menu button. Saved
fi
les will now be saved to this location.
Default save folder location rules
The new save folder location remains in effect until:
A new location is set with the
Change Folder
button.
The oscilloscope is powered down. The save location changes back to the top level of the USB drive.
The following actions do not change the
fi
le save location. The oscilloscope shows an error message when it tries to
save the
fi
le to a location that it cannot
fi
nd. Use the
Change Folder
function to change the working folder location
to an existing folder and try the save operation again.
Deleting the save location folder.
Removing or inserting a USB drive.
Pushing the
Default Setup
front-panel button.
