Greater Than/Less Than Searches for Spectrum
If you select a greater than/less than search, you also specify the level that de
fi
nes a violation. When you
select either
is greater than
or
is less than
, a text entry box appears to the right of the drop-down list.
Use the text entry box to specify the signal level you wish to search for. While not as
fl
exible as mask
testing, this type of search is quicker to set up.
Mask-Based Searches for Spectrum
If you specify a mask-based search for the Spectrum display, then you need to edit the mask to specify the
levels that de
fi
ne a violation. When you select
is outside mask
or
is inside mask
, an Edit limits button is
displayed. Select the Edit limits button to display the Mask Editor.
To edit a search mask for a Spectrum display search:
1.
Click
Edit limits...
to display the Mask Editor.
2.
Click
New Table
to create a table. This clears the existing points and loads the default table.
3.
Select the
X axis values
setting:
a.
Select
Absolute
to specify mask point locations based on signal frequency.
b.
Select
Relative
to specify mask point locations as offsets from the center frequency.
4.
To edit values in the table:
a.
To edit an existing value, double-click on the cell you want to edit.
b.
To add a new point to the table, click on
Add Point
. Edit the values as required and click
Apply
when you are
fi
nished with your changes.
