Configuring External Interfaces
Configuring the Peripheral Interface
The Peripheral Interface Menu allows you to set up the
parameters for the Peripheral Bus II port (A3).
1.
From the Configuration Menu, press
EXTERN I/F>
, then
PERIPHERAL I/F>
to bring up the Peripheral Interface Menu.
2.
Select the baud rate and parity parameters for the Peripheral
Bus II port interface by incrementing to the desired settings.
These should be set to be the same for the Model 3000 and the
peripheral device. For a DPM-700, set the baud rate to
38400
and parity for
NONE
.
