Analyzing Waveforms
Reference Levels
Reference levels determine how time-related
measurements are taken.
1.
Select
Measure > Reference Levels...
.
2.
Adjust the measurement reference levels
to different relative or absolute values.
High and Low references are used
to calculate rise and fall times. The
default High reference is 90% and
Low reference is 10%.
Mid reference is primarily used for
measurements between edges such
as pulse widths. The default level is
50%.
Mid2 reference is used on the second
waveform specified in delay or phase
measurements. The default level is
50%.
Quick Tips
To ensure accurate noise values, be sure go to the Reference Levels Setup menu and set the signal type to Eye
when measuring an Eye signal.

Use cursors to take manual measurements on acquired data.
