3. Adjust the INTEN control fo r desired display
brightness.
4. Adjust the Vertical and Horizontal POSITION
controls to center the trace on the screen.
NOTE
Normally, the resulting trace w ill be parallel with
the center horizontal graticule line and should not
require adjustment. I f trace alignment is required,
see the " Trace R o ta tio n " adjustment procedure
under "Operator's Checks and Adjustments . "

DISPLAYING A SIGNAL
A fter obtaining a Norma! Sweep Display (baseline trace),
you are now ready to connect an input signal and display it
on the crt screen.
2. Press in the POWER switch button (ON) and allow
the instrument to warm up fo r 20 minutes.
1. Connect the calibration generator standard-amplitude
output to both the CH 1 and CH 2 inputs as shown in
Figure 9.
