Rudder and Flight Additional Controls

Pilot can fly using additional controls as follows:
left hand
on the
stick
for longitudinal, lateral control and for brake system;
right hand
on the
central additional control
for directional, throttle and flap control.
Directional Control
The central stick acts on a lever installed on the support located on the forward fuselage struc-
ture and connected to the basic directional control system. The central stick is then mechani-
cally connected to rudder pedals.
Movement along stick axis acts on rudder and steering (see Fig.A14-2):
PUSH
for rudder and nose wheel deployment to left (
A/C nose left
)
PULL
for rudder and nose wheel deployment to right (
A/C nose right
)
