PROGRAMMABLE FEATURES AND MENU STRUCTURE 

The following programmable features are configured using the SOLAR software. The SOLAR software can be 
downloaded from the Technoswitch website 

www.technoswitch.co.za

. 

SOLAR is a Windows application used to configure the Technoswitch ORYX and RHINO Fire Control and 
Extinguishing panel ranges. The minimum operating system requirement for the SOLAR Software is Windows 7. 
SOLAR uses a USB-B cable to communicate with the panels (refer to 1.9.7 USB Connection for SOLAR on 
page 26). 

3.1 

PROGRAMMABLE FEATURES 

3.1.1 

ZONES 

The Zones have the following programmable features:
