iPOS4808 VX Technical Reference

Click Browse button and choose the folder where you have extracted the USB drivers. Click Next
button.

After the installing is finished, another new hardware will be detected. Do the same steps as
before and give the same location for the drivers.

The driver is installed.

3.6.2. USB driver configuration

After the drivers are installed follow the steps below to configure the USB driver:

Remark:

The driver configuration procedure is identical for both Windows 7 and Windows XP.

1. Open Computer Management tool and select Device Manager. Expand Ports (COM & LPT) and
double click on the USB Serial Port (COMx).

2. Click the Port Settings tab and then the Advanced button.
