8. Maintenance and Service
The table summarizes the preventive maintenance procedures and guidelines:

Suction cup

Ensure there is no crack, defect, wear or
deformation on the pneumatic vacuum cups
Replace them if necessary.
The operating conditions may affect the
frequency of the replacement of vacuum cups.
Therefore, users may determine the frequency of
replacing vacuum cups based on their first-time
use.
Check Filter
1 month
Replace filter every 3 months.
Check Emergency Switch
1 month
Press the Emergency Switch and the IO E-Stop
in open-loop status. Verify that each shuts off
power.
Check Enabling Device
1 month
Check the functionality of the Enabling Device on
Teach Pendant by performing the following:
•
When this function is enabled in Manual
Mode, all manual control operations are
enabled only when users press the three
position enabling device in the middle
position.
•
If the Enabling Device is released or fully
pressed, the robot system performs a
protective stop.
•
When starting a manual trial run of the
project pressing the PLAY button, the
Enabling Device should be pressed in the
middle position.
•
When Enabling Device is released or fully
pressed during the Manual Trial Run mode,
the Project Speed will always automatically
return to 5%.
•
Be noticed that Open or Close of this safety
input will not affect the operation in Auto
Mode.
Check User Connected External
Safeguard-Pause Input Port and User
Connected External Safeguard Input Port
for Human–Machine Safety Settings

When the User Connected External Safeguard-
Pause Input Port is open, the current motion is
supposed to stop, and the indication light of
current mode will be constantly flashing.
When the User Connected External Safeguard
Input Port for Human–Machine Safety Settings is
open, the purple light will be alternating between
