Tank disinfection is intended to eliminate the bacteria
Legionella pneumophila
, which impacts upon human cellular immunity. The
bacteria often multiply in standing water tanks (optimal temp.
35°C).
After activating the
Legionella mode,
the tank heats up
to 70°C (factory setting) and maintains such temperature for 30 minutes
(factory setting), and then returns to normal operation mode.
From the moment of activating the disinfection, the temper
ature 70°C must be reached for a period not longer than 90 minu
tes
(factory setting), otherwise, this function will deactivate automatically.
Any changes in the settings for this function can only occur through the service mode.
OPERATION MODE
This allows switching between two operation modes. After pressing the icon, the user will be moved to a submenu where the
selected subassembly should be activated.
•
SUMMER MODE
(the user starts the mode in the summer time). For the activated mode, the fan is run for 2 minutes
before the compressor begins working. If the exterior temperature is lower than the
MINIMUM WORKING
TEMPERATURE
, the heat pump switches to
STANDBY
or the heater/gas boiler is activated.
o
Heater
–
The controller starts the fan for 2 min. If the exterior temperature is less
than 7°C, the heater is switched
on (and continues working until the set hot water temperature is reached). In the event that the exterior
temperature is greater
than 7°C, the compressor
alone is activated.
o
Contact point (gas unit)
–
The controller starts the fan for 2 min. If the exterior temperature is less
than 7°C, the
contact point is switched on (the subassembly is active until the set hot water temperature is reached). In the
event that the exterior temperature is greater
than 7°C, the compressor
alone is activated.
o
Standby - The controller starts the fan for 2 min. If the exterior temperature is less
than 7°C, the heat pump
switches to standby mode. Here, only the circulation pump is in operation (according to the schedule). After 1
hour, the external temperature is controlled again, whe
n it reaches over 7°C
, the compressor is launched.
•
WINTER MODE
(the user starts the mode in the winter season). The function allows the switching on of an additional
water-heating source. Under the factory setting, the
STANDBY
option is activated.
o
Heater
–
The heat pump warms up circulating water by switching the heater on.
o
Contact point (gas unit)
–
The heat pump warms up circulating water using an additional heat source, e.g., a gas
unit (operation permit needed).
o
Standby mode
–
the compressor is not activated, only the circulation pump is in operation (in accordance with
the schedule).
(WHERE: 7°C IS MINIMUM WORKING TEMPERATURE.)
CLOCK SETTINGS
Using clock settings, the user defines the current time. Setting the time is necessary for correct operation of the
WEEKLY
REGULATOR
.
DATE SETTINGS
Using this function, the user sets the current day, month and year. Setting this parameter is necessary for correct operation of the
WEEKLY REGULATOR
.
PRESET TANK TEMPERATURE
This function is used to adjust the preset tank temperature; the temperature can also be changed directly from the
MAIN
SCREEN
of the controller after clicking the icon
PRESET TANK TEMPERATURE
.
