Preliminary Work
Preliminary Checks
•
Ensure that the Daily Preventive Maintenance upon shut-
ting down the System is done.
•
Ensure that all Containers for Disposables are refilled and
all wastes are emptied. Refer to the corresponding des-
cription in the
Chapter: Refilling and Disposal on page 21
•
Make sure four Centrifuge Buckets are placed on the
Worktable, correctly oriented. Check also the Buckets in
the Centrifuge.
•
Check the orientation of the Buckets on the Worktable and
in the Centrifuge.
•
Ensure that all doors, the drawers and the front Panel are
closed.
Starting

If necessary, refill DiTi, Secondary Tubes, Labels, and
empty the Wastes.

Switch on the power on the right side of the instrument

.

Start the Application Software. After starting, the instru-
ment will initialize.
CAUTION
•
Turn-off all cell phones and pagers.
•
Before starting, make sure that the Daily Main-
tenance has been carried out properly. Refer to
the
)(
Operator’s Manual, p/n 391 400.
•
After switching off the instrument, wait a mini-
mum of 10 seconds before starting it again.
