How to cut and connect Led Strips
Power Source
A 16 ft LED strip lighting roll connects to a 12 volt power
supply by a female-male connection. Each roll needs 2A
power. You can connect two rolls together, using connector
shown below, and connect the whole 32 feet to one 4A power
supply.
Cutting LED Strips
A LED strip light is made of 2" sections where each section
consists of 3 LEDs. You can cut the strip at the end of each
section. You can connect/link two pieces of LED strips (cut at
section markers) using the connectors shown below.
Connecting Two Strips with Direct Connection
Remove about half an inch of the tape on the back of the
strip, and scratch the back of the strip to remove the
adhesive.
A direct roll to roll connector has two small black lids. . Pull
out the lids in both sides.
Insert the strip into the connector, and push back the lid.
