STANDBY/ON
Press this switch to switch the unit between power
on and standby.
OPEN/CLOSE
Press this button to open and close the CD
compartment.
TIMER
Use this button to set the timer.
FM MODE/MP3
In FM TUNER mode, use this button to select stereo
or monaural.
During playback of a MP3 disc, use this button to
search track name.
CD compartment
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on top of the unit to
open the CD compartment.

Use this button to change the repeat mode.
MEMORY/CLOCK ADJ
Use this button to program tracks, preset channels
or to adjust the clock.
BAND
Use this button to select FM or AM.
FUNCTION
Press this button to switch between CD, TUNER,

Speakers (stereo)
MUTING
Use this button to cut the sound temporarily.
TUNING
Use this button to tune in a station.

Use this button to adjust the volume.
AUX IN jacks
Connect external sources to these jacks.
FM antenna terminal
Connect the lead-type FM antenna to the FM 75
Ω
socket, extend the lead and tune the tuner to your
favorite station (see page 18). Adjust the antenna in
a suitable location like a window frame or wall until
the reception is best and then affix the antenna in
that position using thumb tacks, push pins or any
other suitable means.
PHONES
Insert the headphones plug into the PHONES jack,
and adjust the volume.
AC adaptor
First plug the power cord running out the AC
adaptor into the DC-IN jack on the left side of the
unit, then plug the adaptor into an AC wall socket.
SLEEP
Use this button to set the sleep timer.
MP3 FOLDER/PRESET
In TUNER mode, use this button to select preset
stations.
During playback of a MP3 disc, use this button to
select a folder in the disc.
