To replace an existing modem, follow these instructions:

                1.   If  your  existing  modem  has  a  cable  (or  cables)  plugged

into Ethernet/LAN or WAN port(s), unplug it/them and
transfer to the corresponding LAN/WAN port(s) on your
new modem. (Note: Ethernet/LAN ports are yellow.)

2.  If you have a phone line(s) plugged into your existing

modem, unplug it/them and transfer it to the DSL/DSL1
port(s) on your new modem.

3.  Unplug the power cord from your existing modem and

the wall. Then, plug your new modem in using your new
power cord (included in the box).

4.  Your modem will automatically begin its 3- to 5-minute

setup process. The Internet light on your new modem will
make three progressions: blinking green, solid red, and
solid green. Once your Internet and Wi-Fi lights are solid
green, your new modem is successfully set up.

If there’s a return-mailing label in the box you received, use
it to return your previous modem (and its power cord) to
TDS

®

. If a mailing label is not included, responsibly dispose

of your previous modem.
