Attach top edge of shelf to pillar
with three 1” self-drilling screws.
Drill a hole through shelf at
location shown. Do not drill
through van pillar.
Attach shelf at this location with
a self-drilling sheet metal screw.
Use two more screws at the
location shown above.
Using a lift table, forklift or other
mechanical assistance, raise the
truckmount console into position
and carefully slide into van. Be
careful not to hit the top of door
opening. Do this slowly and
carefully to avoid damage or
injury.
Maneuver console into position.
In order to allow access for
maintenance, make sure that it is
a minimum of 8” from metal
cargo divider. See photo.
A metal cargo divider is strongly recommended to protect
vehicle occupants from hot surfaces, flying tools and loose
equipment in the event of a collision.
DANGER: If there is no cargo divider, adjust the passenger
seat as far back as it will go. Make sure that the console
is set so that the minimum distance is at least 12” from the
back of passenger seat.
DISABLE RECLINING ADJUSTMENT ON SEAT to prevent
seat from coming into contact with hot surfaces.
Failure to do so could result in fire, injury or death.
