Operation
Bimini tops are not pontoon covers and should
NOT
be left
up when the pontoon is unused. To prolong the life of the
bimini top:
• Do
NOT
allow water to “puddle” on the top. If rain water
does accumulate, push up from underneath to remove
water. The material
MUST
be completely dry before
folding up for storage.
• Do
NOT
operate the pontoon over 25 mph with the bimini
top up.
• Do
NOT
transport the pontoon with the bimini top up.
Closing the Bimini Top
Close the bimini top into the radar position
(Fig.39)
when not
in use or for storage:
NOTE:
With the bimini top closed in the radar position,
the stern light can still be used when the pontoon is
under power.
