defined as a motor vehicle and
IS NOT
approved for licensed operation on
public roads and highways.

The vehicle data plate lists the specific compliance designation. Operate this vehicle only in
environments consistent with the compliance designation. Operation in other more
hazardous environments can cause injury or death. Vehicles complying with more
stringent designations are labeled as to the designation. Type EE compliance vehicles
will have the EE label applied.
Electric tow trucks:
This vehicle is designed for operation on hard smooth road surfaces such as around warehouses
or paved lots and may be operated on other hard surfaces such as smooth packed dirt or light
gravel. Operating this vehicle on rough surfaces will result in premature failure of axles, wheel
bearings and/or the vehicle frame.
This vehicle does not provide protection from lightning, flying objects, or other storm
related hazards. If caught in a storm, immediately seek shelter in accordance with local
safety guidelines for your area. Not seeking shelter may result in severe personal injury.
