Restoring the default values (factory
settings)
Use the
INITIALIZE
item to restore the various settings of
this unit to their factory default values.
1. Use the
§
/BROWSE and
¶
/MIC buttons to select
INITIALIZE
(
Exec
appears light on dark).
2. Press the
Á
button to open a confirmation pop-up
window.
3. Press the
Á
button to initialize the settings.
Press the [
ª
] button to cancel initialization.
Using QUICK FORMAT
Use the
QUICK FORMAT
item to format an SD card quickly.
Using the
QUICK FORMAT
item deletes all music files on the
card, and automatically creates
MUSIC
and
UTILITY
folders and
a dr-1.sys file.

QUICK FORMAT
item (
Exec
appears light on dark).
2. Press the

button to open a confirmation pop-up
window.
3. Press the

button to execute quick formatting.
Press the [
ª
] button to cancel quick formatting.
Using FULL FORMAT
Use the
FULL FORMAT
item to completely format an SD card.
Using the
FULL FORMAT
item deletes all music files on the
card, and automatically creates MUSIC and UTILITY folders and
a
dr-1.sys
file.
If you use the
FULL FORMAT
item, the unit checks the
memory for errors before formatting the card. For this reason
it takes a long time compared to the
QUICK FORMAT
option.
