BD-Live BUDA
BUDA Information,
BUDA Setup
Set the storage location used to save BD-Live contents.
BUDA Information
This shows the amount of open space in the storage location
used to save content.
Press the ENTER button to show the "Fmt buda" button, and
press the ENTER button again.
This creates a BUDA folder in the selected storage location.
BUDA Setup
The storage location used by BUDA can be set to an external
device or the internal storage.
External : A USB flash drive connected to the unit will be used.**
Onboard : The internal storage of the device will be used.
BD-LIVE Connection
Permitted,

Select the access level for BD-Live contents on the Internet.
Permitted
All contents can be accessed.
Partially Permitted
Specific contents can be accessed.
Prohibited
BD-Live contents will be blocked.
Proxy Settings

Set whether or not to connect this unit to the Internet through a
proxy server.

Do not use a proxy server.
Enable
A proxy host and proxy port can be set.
* “Wireless” connection can only be used if a USB-wireless LAN adapter has been connected to the unit.
A USB-wireless LAN adapter is not included with this unit. Wireless LAN adapters can be used, but operation is not guaranteed because acquisition of applicable prod-
ucts is difficult.
** If USB flash drives have been connected to both the front and back USB ports, the one first recognized by the unit will be used for external memory.

16:9 Full: Always make the aspect ratio 16:9. 4:3 video will also
be made 16:9.

16:9 Normal: Usually make the aspect ratio 16:9. 4:3 video will be
shown with black bands on the left and right sides.

4:3 Pan & Scan: Always make the aspect ratio 4:3. 16:9 video will
also be made 4:3.
o
4:3 Letterbox: Usually make the aspect ratio 4:3. 16:9 video will
be shown with black bands on the top and bottom.
Resolution
Auto,
480i/576i,
480p/576p,
720p,
1080i,
1080p
Use to set the image resolution.
o
If Auto is selected, this unit will detect the optimal resolution for
the monitor or TV. In this case, a message confirming the saving
of the selection will appear. Select "OK" as necessary.

When a setting value is changed, a confirmation to approve sav-
ing will appear. Press OK to retain the setting.
