Rest position
The tedder may be stored in two different positions:
A. With the arms laid in the transportation position & the machine tilted forward.

This position ensures compact dimensions of the machine when stored.
You should ensure that the access to the machine is blocked. There is an injury risk by the spring tines,
and there is also a risk of being crushed by the machine. Should your machine remain unused long
periods of time, the machine should be moved slightly in order to change the tire position. This will
keep the tire from becoming deformed. Also keep the air pressure in tires checked. This should be
carried out once a year on average. You should remember about the use of support foot which helps
to increase the machine storage stability. This also applies to being in the working position.

Operation
6.6.1.
Appropriate working position
Before commencing work, make sure that the machine position is appropriate. The tedder in the
working position is presented on Fig.
