3.8.
Hose cleaning
The hose can be cleaned in place without disassembly. It can be done with water or any other
appropriate agent as long as it is compatible with the hose material. Check not only the chemical
compatibility but also the allowable temperature for the utilized hose.
3.9.
Hose replacement
The hose can be replaced without the whole pump disassembly. Before starting of this
procedure, drain the pump from the lubricant according to the procedure shown in chapter 3.8.
Lubricant emptying and filling procedure

In order to avoid costly downtime of the pump, it is recommended to inspect the hose after
about 90% of the lifetime of the first hose as part of preventive maintenance.

Proceed with this procedure only after familiarizing oneself with the instructions at the
beginning of chapter 3.

Loosen the clamp bands [272] and [273] on the
suction side of the pump.

Remove the circlip [274]. Unscrew the bracket bolts
[171] and remove the bracket [170].

Remove the insert [70] and, if applicable, the flange
ring [71/73].

Follow steps 3.9.1a and 3.9.2 on the discharge side of
the pump. Additionally, unscrew the bracket bolts
[171] and remove the brackets [170]. Remove the
clamp bands [272] and [273].
