POWER START BATTERY RE-CHARGING:

To charge the Power Start battery you will need to use the charger adaptor provided. The battery
WILL NOT recharge while the mower is in use.

It is recommended that the battery be recharged once per month to ensure it remains fully
operational. Charge the battery at the beginning of each mowing season and then again through the
season as required and again prior to storing the unit for winter.

1.  Switch off and remove key.

2.  Plug charger adaptor into wall socket.

3.  Insert charger jack into the charger plug receptacle (A) at the rear of the Power Start box.

4.  Switch wall socket on.

5.  The red CHARGING light should come on.

6.  When the green FULLY CHARGED light is on the battery is charged (Red light will turn off

when battery is charged ).

Note: Charge time is approximately 6-10 hours.

Ensure the mower is stored in a dry secure area.

CAUTION

To ensure maximum battery life always fully discharge battery before

charging.
Do not leave charger unattended for more than 12 hours. Over charging can

damage the battery and or the charger.
Ensure water does not come in contact with the Power Start Battery

Housing, Charger Wire Connections.

ENGINE AIR CLEANER

The engine air cleaner element must be serviced (cleaned) after 25 hours normal mowing. The foam
element must be serviced regularly if the mower is used in dry dusty conditions.

TO CLEAN OILED FOAM FILTER (AM3050/AM3054/AM3058)

1. Remove screw.

2. Press down the two tabs on top of the filter cover. Remove cover.

3. Wash filter element in soap water. DO NOT USE GASOLINE!

4. Air dry filter element.

5. Place a few drops of SAE30 oil on the foam filter and squeeze tightly to remove any excess oil.

6. Reinstall filter.

NOTE: Replace filter if frayed, torn, damaged or unable to be cleaned.
