Disabling the Serial Interface
The following selection becomes available within the PORT submenu of the INTERFACE menu
when the RS232/422 serial interface is installed.
Serial
The
Serial
option enables you to turn off the serial port on the interface. This selections is often
used to permit uninterrupted communication to other ports such as the parallel or other network
ports.
