2. Select the
TalkSwitch Profile
tab.
3. If this location has the TalkSwitch unit that will act as the SIP server for
a multi-location network:
a) Select the
This TalkSwitch location is the Proxy/Registrar
check box.
The window disables the
Proxy Server
and
Registrar Server
boxes, and
enables the
View Registrar Entries
button.
b) If a VoIP service provider will be used, enter the
Outbound Proxy
associated with the service provider.
c) Enter a
Realm/Domain
name for your VoIP network (e.g.
abccompany.com). If a VoIP service provider will be used, enter the
realm/domain associated with the service provider.
d) Select the
Register Authentication
. Choices are:
•
none
— Devices will not require authorization to access the VoIP
network. The window disables the
User/Account
and
Password
boxes.
•
yes (digest)
— Devices will require digest authentication to
access the VoIP network. The window enables the
User/Account
and
Password
boxes.
