6. Preparation to work
Before starting work:
visually assess the condition of the sweeper; if any defects are detected, remedy them
immediately,
mount the sweeper to the carrier vehicle,
connect the hydraulic lines of the sweeper to the sockets of one section of the external
hydraulic manifold of the vehicle,
lift the sweeper upwards by about 30 cm from the ground to check the correct
connection of the quick couplers; if the sweeping roller is rotating in the wrong
direction or does not rotate, then swap the location of the quick connector plugs,
position the sweeper so that it rests on all three support wheels; the red indicators
show the correct positioning of the mounting bracket.
DANGER
During the operation, do not stay between the machine and the vehicle. The
person who helps to operate the machine should stay outside the danger zone
and be visible to the operator at all times.
