Chapter 4 Getting the Most Out of the Machine

The frame can be returned or advanced according to the design data.
This feature comes in handy in the following situations.
• When you want to do some repair stitching after the thread has broken, and you want to restart the
embroidery from the position before the thread broke.
• When you want to start embroidering from a place or step partway through the design.
• When you want to skip embroidery of a place or step partway through the design.

Move the frame by tapping the icons below while in
the Paused screen or the Embroidery Start screen.
• To go back 1 step:

Example of use for repair sewing after thread breaks
After the thread breaks, if you restart from a position where the stitches overlap slightly, the resulting
product will look better.

Tap
, and return the frame to a position where two or three stitches can overlap
a place where the sewing was all right.
With each tap of
, the frame returns by one stitch.

Press the [START] button on the operation panel.
The embroidery resumes from the position at which the frame was returned.

design
Caution
Keep hands away from the area surrounding the frame. Otherwise, there is a risk of injury due to the
movement of the frame.
The frame can be returned one stitch at a time by pressing the [STOP] button on the operation
panel while embroidery is paused. If you press and hold the [STOP] button, the frame will
consecutively return, one stitch at a time.

is tapped on the Embroidery Start screen, a screen asking you to
confirm that you want to move the frame is displayed. Tap [YES].
