Requesting a status update
Note:
This feature is available for digital channels only
and for radios configured for dispatcher operation.
You can find out what another radio user is currently
doing by asking them to send you a status update.
To send a status request:

Press
Menu
and select
Services
>
Status request
.

Select the status request recipient from the list and
press
Send to
key.
A message showing the destination appears in the
display:
The LED glows red and a message may be displayed
to advise you whether the message has been sent
successfully or not.
