Charging temperatures
Notice
Do not expose a battery to very high or very
low temperatures for extended periods of time. Doing
so will shorten the usable life (‘service life’) of the
battery.
To achieve the best results when charging your
battery:

Before you begin to charge your battery, make
sure that the battery temperature is close to the
room temperature in which the battery is to be
charged.
■
If possible, charge the battery in
temperatures between 50 °F
and 77 °F (between 10 °C and
25 °C). This temperature range is
the optimal charging range.
Temperature range
Charging only starts when the battery is between the
following temperature ranges:
■
Li-ion battery: 32 °F to 104 °F
(0 °C to 40 °C).

40 °C
32 °F
0 °C
