The tree must always have a root-level folder (Connections). You can add
subfolders to that folder, move connections or folders into or out of any folder,
and rename any item. You can also move items to re-arrange them within a
folder.
Connections are displayed with an icon, indicating the type of connection.
A phone icon indicates a dial-up modem connection.
A plug icon indicates a direct connection.
A network icon indicates a network connection.
To add a folder or connection
1. Right-click the folder in which you want the item to appear. A context-
sensitive menu appears.
2. Select Add Folder or Add Connection .
3. Edit the item name as appropriate.
To move a folder or connection
Q
Use the mouse to drag and drop the item into a folder.
Export and Import of Service Kit Connections
You can export connection definitions from one Service Kit and import them
into another. This is particularly valuable if your system has a significant number
of base stations, each of which needs its own remote connection definition.
Importing Connections
You can import a file containing connections that have been exported from
another Service Kit. You import the connections and their tree structure. If, for
example, a connection is in the South City folder, it will be imported into that
folder. If necessary, a new South City folder will be created. Existing
connections are only overwritten if they have the same name, are of the same
type, and are in the same position in the tree.
