Connecting a Third FlexSet 40B

free side of the previous FlexSet 40B. No electronic connection is necessary
between the third and fourth FlexSet 40B D-BUS sockets (as shown in
Figure 7-9
).
2. Set the 3-position slide switch (located on the bottom lower side of the third
FlexSet 40B) to the relevant position
(fourth FlexSet 40B = “
1 ”, fifth FlexSet 40B = “ 2 ”, sixth FlexSet 40B = “ 3 ”)
when connecting the third FlexSet 40B. Use a screwdriver to move the switch to
the proper position.
3. Use an extended RJ-45 connector cable (max length 50cm) to connect the final
FlexSet 40B to the partner terminal (FlexSet 280/281). If desired, this terminal may
be placed out of sight, such as under the table. Alternatively, the keyset may be
designated as a second station.
