If a FlexSet is wired up as a PF station to a 4T-C, 8T-C, 4T-CID, 8T-CID, 4T-C Office,
8T-C Office, 4T-CID Office, 8T-CID Office, 4T-Cipx, 8T-Cipx, 4TMR-PF, 4TPF, 8TPF,
4ALS or 8ALS circuit, one or more of the following undesirable results may be
obtained.
1. The FlexSet will not work in PF mode.
2. The FlexSet will be ruined by incoming ring voltage on the PF trunk.
3. When the Coral resets and comes back on-line, the FlexSets wired for power fail
operation will never initialize, because the Coral will sense the PF Trunk as
activated and not reset the trunk or FlexSet.
6 Power Failure Mode
FlexSets cannot be used as power failure stations. The FlexSet is a digital instrument
and cannot be used in a Power Failure connection. It will be ruined by incoming ring
voltage on the PF trunk.
